Refund Policy

1. Scope This Refund Policy applies to digital products, digital rights, and digital service entitlements offered through the Service. At this time, the primary paid product offered through the Service is: Artifact Creation Right — a one-time paid digital entitlement that is made available immediately after successful payment. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout or in a product-specific policy, all paid offerings made available through the Service are digital in nature. No physical goods are shipped. 2. General Refund Rule You may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the date of a one-off transaction. After this 14-day period, purchases are generally non-refundable, except where: a refund is required by applicable law; a payment processing error occurred; a material technical failure attributable to us prevented delivery of the purchased product; or Paddle or another applicable payment provider determines that a refund is appropriate under its applicable rules, contractual rights, or legal obligations. All refund requests are subject to review, verification, and the terms applicable to the relevant transaction. 3. Nature of the Product The Artifact Creation Right is a digital entitlement that allows the user to create an Artifact through the Service. Because the Service involves digital access, digital creation rights, and immediate provision of digital functionality, refund eligibility may be limited once the relevant digital entitlement has been issued, accessed, used, or otherwise made available, except as required by applicable law or expressly stated in this Refund Policy. 4. Non-Refundable Situations Except where required by applicable law or expressly approved under this Refund Policy, refunds will generally not be granted in the following circumstances: change of mind; dissatisfaction with rankings, visibility, public placement, comparative display, or similar public-facing features; nickname, message, or other input errors made by the user; dissatisfaction with the symbolic, expressive, commemorative, or presentation aspects of an Artifact; dissatisfaction with the way an Artifact appears, is perceived, or is publicly displayed; an Artifact being hidden, restricted, or made non-public due to a violation of our Terms of Service, policies, moderation rules, or eligibility requirements; or requests made after the 14-day refund window, unless an exception under this Refund Policy or applicable law applies. For clarity, disagreement with moderation outcomes, ranking methodology, public visibility status, or expressive presentation does not by itself create a right to a refund. 5. Limited Refund Exceptions Without guaranteeing that any particular request will be approved, refunds may be considered in limited circumstances such as: Payment Error: the transaction was processed incorrectly, including duplicate payment or another billing error; Technical Failure: a material technical failure attributable to us prevented delivery of the purchased Artifact Creation Right; Legal Requirement: a refund is required by applicable law, regulation, payment method provider requirements, or payment scheme rules; or Fraud / Error Review: Paddle or the applicable payment provider reasonably believes that the transaction was made in error, fraudulently, or may become subject to a chargeback. Any refund granted under this section may be conditioned on verification of the purchase, account, delivery status, transaction history, and related service records. 6. How to Request a Refund To request a refund, you must contact us at support@thxmyai.com within the applicable refund period. Your refund request must include, at minimum: the purchase email address; the order number; and the payment date. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction, investigate the request, prevent fraud, or comply with payment-provider or legal requirements. 7. Review and Processing of Refund Requests When we receive a refund request, we may review relevant records, including: transaction records; payment records; account activity; service delivery status; and other records reasonably necessary to determine whether the request qualifies under this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, the applicable checkout terms, or applicable law. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be granted. Where Paddle or another payment provider acts as seller of record, merchant of record, reseller, or payment administrator, the actual refund decision and processing may also be subject to that provider’s systems, procedures, rights, and obligations. 8. Effect of an Approved Refund If a refund is approved, the related Artifact will be deleted immediately. Once deleted, the Artifact cannot be restored. By purchasing through the Service, you acknowledge and agree that if a refund is granted: the related Artifact may be permanently deleted; deletion may occur immediately upon refund approval or processing; any associated access, display status, ranking inclusion, or related service entitlement connected to that Artifact will end; and you will have no further right to use, recover, restore, or reactivate the refunded Artifact. Refund approval therefore results in permanent loss of the refunded Artifact and any associated rights or benefits linked to it. 9. Paddle and Refund Processing We may use Paddle and other third-party payment providers to process transactions. For applicable transactions, Paddle may act as the seller of record or merchant of record. Where Paddle is the seller of the relevant product to the buyer: we will not separately invoice the buyer for that transaction; if we agree that a refund should be issued, the refund will not be paid directly by us to the buyer, and instead the relevant refund will be processed through Paddle; and Paddle may cancel a transaction and grant a refund where permitted or required under its terms, including where: the buyer requests a refund within fourteen (14) days of a one-off transaction and Paddle determines, in its sole discretion, that a refund is appropriate; Paddle reasonably believes the transaction was made in error or fraudulently; Paddle reasonably believes the transaction may become subject to a chargeback; or a refund is required by applicable law, regulation, payment method provider requirements, or payment scheme rules. You also acknowledge that Paddle may take additional action where refund or chargeback rates are excessive, including suspending payment methods, implementing additional checkout controls, terminating services, or sharing relevant business information with payment partners as permitted under its terms. Where Paddle prevents a chargeback or refunds a buyer, Paddle may recover from us the refunded amount, related fees and expenses, and chargeback-related fees in accordance with its contractual terms. 10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, you should first contact us at support@thxmyai.com so that we may review the matter. If a transaction is reversed, charged back, disputed, flagged as fraudulent, unauthorized, or otherwise unwound, we may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: delete the related Artifact; remove associated service entitlements; disable or restrict related account activity; revoke public visibility, direct-link access, or related display benefits; or take any other reasonable action necessary to protect the Service, users, payment ecosystem, or our legal and business interests. Chargebacks and payment disputes may also be handled in accordance with Paddle’s procedures and the rules of the relevant payment method provider or card scheme. 11. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights This Refund Policy is intended to apply on a global basis. However, consumer protection laws vary by country and jurisdiction. This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply and cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws applicable to you. To the extent required by law, any mandatory legal rule, stricter consumer protection requirement, or controlling legal standard applicable to your purchase will prevail over any inconsistent provision of this Refund Policy. 12. Changes to This Refund Policy We may update or modify this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, applicable law, payment provider requirements, or business operations. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. The updated Refund Policy will become effective as of the “Last Updated” date shown above. 13.
